SEARCHING FOR JUSTICE: ETHNOGRAPHIC APROXIMATION TO VICTIMS OF CITIZEN SECURITY OPERATIONS IN THEIR SEARCH FOR JUSTICE AND REPARATION

Through an ethnographic approximation to indirect victims of extrajudicial executions who live in precarious and socially excluded environments, the author analyses the effects of the “hardline” citizen security operations from an individual, familiar and community standpoint. Public policy recommendations are likewise included, as well as successful international experiences to address the attention to victims that could serve as references to the Venezuelan case.
